STONEHAVEN is a construction consultancy and project management firm delivering services to clients across the Middle East.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based full-time in Dubai, driving new business and strengthening relationships across the region's construction, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who understands the construction consultancy landscape, has an established network across the UAE and wider GCC, and can convert relationships into long-term project pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across construction consultancy and project management services in the UAE and broader Middle East
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, government entities, and other key industry stakeholders
- Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with Stonehaven's growth objectives
- Lead the end-to-end bid process, including identifying tenders, preparing proposals, and coordinating with technical teams on pricing and scope
- Represent Stonehaven at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to raise market visibility and generate leads
- Track market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity to identify opportunities ahead of the market
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospects, proposals, and won/lost opportunities, reporting regularly to senior leadership
- Collaborate closely with project management and technical teams to ensure proposals reflect deliverable, realistic scopes
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with company policy and risk appetite
- Our ideal Candidate would be:
- 5+ years of business development or commercial experience within construction consultancy, project management, or the wider built environment sector
- Established network of contacts across developers, contractors, and consultants in the UAE and Middle East
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, tendering processes, and consultancy service delivery
- Confident communicator able to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders
- Commercially sharp, target-driven, and comfortable owning a revenue pipeline
- Organized and dependable under deadline pressure, with strong follow-through on opportunities
Qualifications
- A degree in Business management or Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of winning new business within consultancy, project management in the construction industry
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposal development, negotiation, and client relationship management
