Fynde is supporting an innovative global packaging solutions organisation that partners with leading brands across the Beauty, Personal Care, Home Care and Consumer Products sectors.
As part of its continued growth strategy across the Middle East region, our client is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities whilst building long-term strategic customer relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys opening doors, winning new business and developing sustainable commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and develop new business opportunities across the Middle East region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Generate new leads through market research, networking, referrals and direct business development activities.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations and commercial discussions with stakeholders at multiple levels, including Marketing, Packaging Development, Procurement and Senior Leadership teams.
- Understand customer needs and develop tailored commercial solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
- Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and sales updates.
- Follow up on sales opportunities and quotations to maximise conversion rates.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of new business opportunities into ongoing account management processes.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings.
- Manage travel, customer visits and business development activities to maximise market coverage and revenue generation.
Candidate Profile
- We are particularly interested in speaking with commercially driven professionals from the Beauty, Personal Care, Home Care, Packaging or wider FMCG sectors.
- The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, sales or commercial leadership roles.
- A proven track record of identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities.
- Experience selling technical products, packaging solutions or value-added services into consumer-facing industries.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- The ability to tailor sales strategies and commercial approaches to individual customer needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across commercial, marketing, packaging development and procurement functions.
- A highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated approach to business development.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify customer challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Experience working independently and managing a regional territory.
- A willingness to travel extensively throughout the Middle East region.
