Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities across the company’s product and service portfolio, build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, and develop strategies to expand market presence locally and internationally.
Daily responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting market research, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams such as sourcing, operations, and logistics to ensure successful delivery.
The role also involves monitoring sales performance, analyzing trends, providing regular reports to leadership, and contributing to pricing, promotional, and partnership initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience in international trade, import/export operations, and basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Market research, analytical, and strategic planning skills to identify opportunities and develop growth plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems proactively.
- Prior experience in trading, FMCG, electronics, garments, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages relevant to target markets is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and willingness to travel regionally as needed.
