Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, and develop strategic partnerships within the interior design, fit-out, and real estate sectors.
Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company targets.
The role also involves collaborating closely with design, project, and operations teams to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into project scopes and delivered successfully.
The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and support sustainable revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within interior design, fit-out, construction, or related industries.
- Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to diverse client stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project workflows in design and fit-out, including timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages relevant to the region are an advantage.
- Comfortable working on-site with clients, visiting project locations, and participating in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting targets and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (or similar productivity tools), and basic sales reporting and forecasting.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and professional conduct.
