The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and developing long-term relationships with commercial, industrial, and retail fuel customers across the UAE.
This role requires a seasoned sales professional with deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record in fuel sales, account management, and market expansion.
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the retail and commercial fuel market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, transport businesses, construction firms, industrial customers, and fuel resellers.
- Negotiate and close fuel supply agreements, long-term contracts, and spot sales opportunities.
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Expand the company's customer base and strengthen market penetration across designated regions.
Market & Commercial Strategy
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and pricing movements within the fuel industry.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies to increase market share.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute business growth initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and service excellence.
- Manage key accounts and support the timely resolution of commercial and operational issues.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
Operational & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and supply teams to ensure seamless fuel deliveries and customer service.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and payment performance in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, market intelligence reports, and performance analyses.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to sales growth, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
& Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum
- 7–10 years of experience
- in fuel sales, petroleum products trading, retail fuel operations, or business development within the energy sector.
- Strong existing network within the UAE fuel, transportation, logistics, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing high-value customer accounts.
- In-depth understanding of fuel products, pricing mechanisms, supply chain operations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
