Role Description

The Business Development Manager role at Red Arax is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.

The role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, and supporting strategic partnerships.

Daily activities include researching market trends, qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, and participating in client meetings both in person and virtually.

The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs, track performance against sales and growth targets, and provide regular reporting and insights to leadership.

The role also involves contributing to business development plans, representing the organization at relevant industry events, and ensuring a professional, inclusive, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, with the ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and close deals.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with clients, partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Solid analytical and research abilities to understand markets, competitors, and customer needs, and to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to prepare clear proposals, reports, and pitch materials in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Organizational and time-management skills suited to a part-time hybrid role, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Comfort with digital tools and CRM or sales software to track leads, manage contacts, and report on business development activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in the Abu Dhabi or broader UAE market is beneficial.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory business practices, with a professional demeanor in both in-person and remote work settings.
