Your role
The Business Development Intern will help identify and engage potential partners and explore growth opportunities in international markets.
Gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical partnerships, external outreach, market research, and commercial strategy.
Work with Market Access and Operations teams and contribute to international projects.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify potential partners and new leads.
- Conduct phone and email outreach, initiate conversations, and follow up on opportunities.
- Maintain and update the CRM or Excel pipeline.
- Support market and competitor research.
- Prepare presentations, partner profiles, and meeting materials.
- Collaborate across departments on ongoing projects.
What you bring
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confident, outgoing, and comfortable communicating with external contacts by phone, email, or in meetings.
- Proactive and hands-on, able to take initiative; organized, attentive to detail, and good at follow-up.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Interest in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and international business.
Qualifications
- A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a master’s degree is not required.
- Previous internship or project experience in business development, consulting, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, market research, or commercial strategy is a plus, not a requirement.
Workplace
- Office-based position at Dubai Science Park.
Compensation
- Paid internship with compensation in line with market standards; no pay cadence is specified.
