Steel Wood Industries FZCO (Dubai Branch) is the first and only wood panel production facility in the GCC and the first in the wider Arabian Middle East, operating a sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing process.

The company recycles 100% post-consumer wood to produce SDB (Steel Wood Density Board)

, an engineered wood panel similar to conventional particleboard/chipboard but with enhanced strength, durability, and performance characteristics.

SDB is available in non-fire-rated, moisture-resistant, and fire-rated grades, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional wood-based panels across a wide range of applications.

Through its recycling operations, Steel Wood Industries contributes to the capture and reduction of more than 1 million tons of carbon annually.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (BDE)

role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The BDE will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing client accounts, and promote SDB products to customers within the construction, interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, hospitality, and related sectors.

Responsibilities

include conducting client meetings and site visits, delivering product presentations and technical introductions, preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and converting leads into sales opportunities.

The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on orders, deliveries, and customer support, while monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

The BDE will maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer records to support business growth and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales, business development, negotiation, and closing skills in B2B, construction materials, building products, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience in the Saudi Arabian (KSA) and/or Oman markets is a strong advantage, particularly within building materials, engineered wood products, construction, fit-out, joinery, or related industries.
  • Existing relationships with contractors, consultants, joineries, furniture manufacturers, distributors, or project stakeholders in KSA and Oman will be highly valued.
