Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive at Gateway to Automotive.
The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and building long-term relationships with clients in the automotive sector.
The Business Development Executive will conduct market research, generate qualified leads through various channels, and prepare and deliver proposals and presentations that align with client needs.
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account management, and tracking performance against targets.
The role also requires regular communication with prospects and partners, participation in virtual meetings and industry events, and continuous improvement of sales strategies based on data and feedback.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with a proven ability to create and grow a pipeline of opportunities.
- Candidates should possess solid Business acumen, including understanding of sales processes, pricing, and negotiation within B2B environments.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
- Candidates should possess effective Account Management skills to nurture client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Candidates should have experience working in or with the automotive industry or related sectors, or demonstrate strong interest and ability to learn market dynamics quickly.
- Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with strong time management, organization, and self-motivation.
- Candidates should be proficient with CRM tools and common business software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, video conferencing platforms).
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales and business development, is preferred.
