Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive working across platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and PeoplePerHour.
The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, create and manage proposals, and maintain strong communication with prospects and clients on freelance marketplaces.
Day-to-day tasks include analyzing client needs, qualifying leads, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely follow-up to convert opportunities into long-term accounts.
The role also involves maintaining accurate records of activities, tracking performance metrics, and suggesting improvements to lead generation and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Business growth strategy.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation and prospecting on platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and PeoplePerHour.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including written and verbal interaction with global clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in Account Management and relationship building to retain and expand client accounts.
- Experience working with online freelancing platforms and marketplace bidding is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet targets.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with attention to detail in proposals and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
