Role overview
Part-time, hybrid Business Development Executive role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with flexibility for some work from home.
The role develops business opportunities supporting the Faculty's research, education, and innovation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads; cultivate relationships with industry and clinical partners.
- Support strategic partnerships and collaborations, manage key accounts, and prepare proposals and presentations.
- Coordinate with academic and professional services teams to align opportunities with institutional priorities.
- Monitor market trends, contribute to business development plans, and maintain pipeline and partnership records.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated new business development and lead generation skills, including identifying, assessing, and pursuing strategic opportunities.
- Business and account management skills, including stakeholder relationships and support for partnership agreements.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex academic and scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in higher education, research institutions, healthcare, or technology is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, including proficiency with CRM or similar tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment and collaborate across teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, management, life sciences, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
