Position Overview
- The Business Development Director will lead commercial growth initiatives with a strong focus on the Middle East and Europe markets while supporting broader international business opportunities.
- This is a highly hands-on role suited for a commercially driven aviation professional with an established network in the flight support industry and the ability to generate business opportunities from day one.
- The ideal candidate is expected to actively build relationships, secure new accounts, expand strategic partnerships, and contribute directly to revenue growth within a lean and fast-moving business environment.
- The role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, strong industry credibility, and the ability to operate independently with high ownership and minimal supervision.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development and commercial growth strategies across assigned markets.
- Identify, approach, and secure new clients within the aviation and flight support industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, charter companies, FBOs, ground handlers, and aviation stakeholders.
- Generate new business opportunities through existing industry relationships and active market engagement.
- Expand the company’s regional and international market presence through strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and proposal preparation with prospective clients and partners.
- Work closely with company leadership to support revenue growth objectives and market expansion plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing structures, and industry developments to identify commercial opportunities.
- Represent the company in meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities when required.
- Maintain high responsiveness and professional relationship management with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Achieve or exceed agreed commercial and sales targets.
• Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within aviation or flight support services.
- Existing professional network and industry relationships within the aviation support sector are highly essential.
- Proven track record in securing new business and expanding commercial accounts.
- Strong understanding of:
- Flight support operations
- Ground handling services
- FBO operations
- Charter and operator support services
- Aviation operational coordination
- Strong commercial negotiation and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote and fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory; additional languages are considered an advantage.
