We are seeking a **Business Development cum Interior Designer** to drive strategic growth within the luxury interior design and furniture sector.
This senior role focuses on building and managing high-level relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, and key project stakeholders, while generating and converting high-value business opportunities across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
The position plays a vital role in strengthening brand presence, supporting product specification, expanding the professional design network, and positioning the company as a preferred partner within the design community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, consultants, and project decision-makers.
- Drive business development initiatives and secure high-value, project-based opportunities.
- Promote brand positioning, collections, and bespoke design solutions to the professional design community.
- Support and influence product specification across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Identify, track, and convert qualified project leads into confirmed orders and long-term accounts.
- Prepare, manage, and negotiate proposals, quotations, and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with showroom sales, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, design studios, and professional networking activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Act as a senior brand ambassador, maintaining a high level of professionalism and client confidence.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in design relations, business development, or luxury interior/furniture brands (senior-level exposure preferred).
- Established network within the interior design, architecture, or real estate development community.
- Proven track record in project-based sales and specification-driven business development.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High-end professional presentation with a strong passion for luxury design and aesthetics.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
