Role overview

Recruiting and advisor development

• Source new and experienced advisor candidates through community contacts and referral sources.
• Maintain relationships with advisors, centres of influence, and community partners.
• Oversee new-advisor onboarding plans and participate in recruiting events.
• Coach advisors on market identification, sales planning, joint field work, and practice growth.
• Support advisor business plans, proposals, solutions, and implementation plans.
• Connect advisors with head-office resources, specialized training, and processes.

Performance and compliance

• Assess advisor businesses and identify performance and client-engagement opportunities.
• Monitor advisor performance against targets and support adoption of new business processes.
• Provide coaching and training to address skill gaps and support target and compliance alignment.
• Support compliant operations, market-conduct audit corrective action, and advisor transitions between segments.

Candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of financial services and products.
• Sales-driven, strategic, and relationship-focused approach.
• Capability relevant to coaching and developing experienced advisors and growing financial-services practices.
