business developer (junior)
About This Role
The role holder is responsible for supporting business development activities and acquiring new corporate fleet clients. The employee prepares proposals, follows up on leads, updates CRM records, and coordinates internally to ensure smooth contract processing. The role reports to the Sales Manager – Corporate Accounts. This role supports the Commercial Department in achieving revenue targets and expanding the fleet portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Support business development activities by identifying potential corporate clients, arranging meetings, and updating opportunities in the CRM system to maintain accurate sales pipeline records.
- Prepare leasing proposals and quotations by collecting fleet requirements, coordinating pricing details with Finance, and submitting structured commercial offers aligned with company pricing guidelines.
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries by maintaining regular communication with prospects, tracking documentation, and ensuring timely responses to client requests.
- Coordinate contract processing and onboarding by liaising with Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure proper documentation, contract issuance, and smooth fleet activation.
- Maintain sales reports and KPI tracking by preparing weekly and monthly pipeline reports, updating CRM data, and monitoring assigned sales targets.
- Conduct market and competitor research by collecting market data, benchmarking leasing rates, and submitting summary findings to support commercial decision-making.
- Support account management activities by assisting in contract renewals, maintaining client communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ sales experience in Car Fleet Leasing to enterprise & large accounts or Marketing:
Include:
- Advanced KPI tracking and performance follow-up , including monitoring pipeline status, revenue contribution, contract values, and preparing structured performance reports.
- Experience leading or supporting projects with large corporate accounts , including fleet proposal preparation, client onboarding coordination, and contract activation processes.
- Proven ability in preparing commercial reports and presentations , including pricing comparisons, financial summaries, and sales performance dashboards, while contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Exposure to dealership and OEM relationship coordination , including managing vehicle availability, pricing discussions, and delivery timelines.
- Agile adaptation in a fast-moving organization , handling changing client demands, operational adjustments, and evolving market conditions.
Strong collaboration across internal teams , including Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Legal, to ensure smooth execution and best customer experience throughout the contract lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Sales
- Languages min. required: English (Arabic, Urdu & Hindi will be appreciated)
