Overview
Status: Full-time \| Reports to: General Manager
Core Mission
Generate qualified opportunities for the Group: acquisitions, startups, Padel One franchisees, and intermediary-led deals across Africa.
The BD is the engine of external growth, activating the network and bringing in opportunities ahead of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify investment and growth opportunities
- Assess opportunities in the restaurant and retail sectors
- Build and manage a network of deal sources and strategic partners
- Lead franchise development across targeted regional markets
- Originate deals across Francophone and high-growth African markets
- Prepare investment files and recommendations for senior management
- Drive commercial negotiations through to closing
- Represent the Group at key industry events and influential business networks
- Provide daily reporting to senior management on the active opportunity pipeline
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities
- Solid financial foundations (valuation, term sheets, M&A mechanics)
- Proficiency with CRM tools and pipeline management
- Operational understanding of franchise development
- Executive-level communication skills
- Fluency in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
Ideal Profile
- Master's degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent
- 6 to 10 years of experience in BD, M&A, or franchise development
- Demonstrabletrackrecord of closed deals
- Highly autonomous witha hunter mindset
- International experience is highly valued
- Knowledge of the UAE / GCC marketor Africa is a major advantage
