Role overview

Analysis and data mart delivery

• Gather Finance, Risk, and Regulatory stakeholder requirements; define mappings, transformation logic, business rules, KPIs, and regulatory data elements.
• Profile data to find gaps and anomalies; design subject-oriented data marts, dimensional models, and ER diagrams.
• Use Oracle, Netezza, or cloud data warehouses; optimize queries and structures for performance and scalability.
• Define control totals, validation rules, and exception handling; document source-to-report lineage at table and column level.
• Support MANTA or Collibra integrations; maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and transformation documentation.
• Apply governance policies and regulatory standards, including BCBS 239 and SOX.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business users; participate in Agile planning, UAT, defect management, testing, validation, and release sign-off.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in banking data, data warehousing, or data engineering.
• Strong banking Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting domain knowledge; data warehousing and star/snowflake data mart design expertise.
• Advanced SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning; hands-on ETL/ELT and Oracle, Netezza, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of reconciliation, controls, validation frameworks, data lineage, governance, and file- or API-based integration.

Preferred skills

• Exposure to BCBS 239, CCAR, Basel, or other regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Tableau, or Power BI.
