Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Bucharest.
The Writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate written content for various channels, including website pages, blog articles, customer communications, and marketing materials.
Daily tasks include researching logistics and supply chain topics, interviewing internal subject-matter experts, and transforming technical information into accessible language for different audiences.
The role also involves proofreading and editing content for consistency and quality, aligning all materials with iB CARGO’s brand voice and tone.
The Writer will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and operational teams to support campaigns, proposals, and client-facing documents, while managing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone to different audiences and formats.
- Experience creating content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and other digital or print materials.
- Solid research skills, including the ability to quickly understand complex logistics or technical topics and explain them clearly.
- Familiarity with content best practices, such as basic SEO principles, content structuring, and plain-language communication.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Languages, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to incorporate feedback constructively.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in logistics, supply chain, or transportation services; prior experience in B2B or logistics-focused content is an advantage.
