Role Description
The Business Continuity Manager at Association de Défense des Valeurs de l'Institut Paul Bocuse is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s business continuity and resilience framework.
This role involves conducting business impact analyses, mapping critical processes, and developing continuity and recovery plans in partnership with operational, IT, and leadership teams.
The Business Continuity Manager will lead risk assessments, coordinate scenario planning and simulation exercises, and ensure alignment with enterprise risk management practices and regulatory expectations.
Day-to-day activities include updating documentation, monitoring key continuity metrics, preparing reports for management, and coordinating incident response and post-incident reviews.
The role also includes training and coaching stakeholders on continuity procedures, driving continuous improvement of plans, and promoting a culture of resilience across the organization.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Business Continuity Planning and Business Continuity, including developing, testing, and maintaining continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Strong capabilities in Business Resilience and Enterprise Risk Management, with experience integrating continuity strategies into broader risk frameworks.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, perform business impact analyses, and translate findings into practical, risk-based actions.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, facilitating workshops and simulations, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation, procedures, and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, information systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301-related) are an asset.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and remain calm and organized during incidents or high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with continuity and risk management standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 31000) and with digital collaboration tools for remote work.
