Use a structured change management approach to plan changes across people, processes and technology, support benefits and reduce resistance.

The role supports the CAA business change methodology end to end.

Key responsibilities

  • Support impact analysis on people, processes and systems, and help build owned, resourced change plans.
  • Understand change project scope, service or product impacts, and expected internal and external benefits.
  • Assess readiness at key project stages and prepare affected areas for new ways of working.
  • Support transition into business as usual, embed changes and integrate change activities into project plans.
  • Identify people-related risks and resistance, develop interventions, and measure adoption and benefits.
  • Identify partner groups and explain the purpose of changes to affected team members.
  • Coordinate training with subject matter experts and project teams, including materials and tools.
  • Provide user support before, during and after system go-live.

Essential requirements

  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills; able to facilitate and lead workshops with internal and external partners.
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders including executive and board members, departmental managers, suppliers and government departments.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership, act with initiative, and positively challenge partners on key decisions.
  • Able to work at pace without neglecting quality.
  • Knowledge of the CAA industry and business, or willingness to learn.

Useful experience and qualifications

  • Business change experience is not required; understanding of or exposure to business change activity would be useful.
  • A Change Management Foundation or Practitioner qualification is preferred, but not essential.

Location and workplace

  • The role is based in Gatwick and described as hybrid.

Compensation and contract

  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience.
