About This Role
Overview
Dubai Driving Center is looking for a skilled and experienced Business Application IT Developer to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting enterprise business applications with a primary focus on Odoo ERP systems.
This role will support the company’s digital transformation initiatives, operational automation, and system integrations across various departments and branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP modules and workflows
- Analyze business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions
- Develop APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
- Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Perform system testing, debugging, upgrades, and migrations
- Automate operational processes and improve workflow efficiency
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics for management
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system/application issues
- Maintain technical documentation for custom developments and integrations
- Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for server and hosting environments
- Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience in Odoo ERP Development & Customization
• ERP Workflow Design
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is an advantage
- Knowledge of MongoDB & MySQL preferred
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in ERP/Application Development
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Odoo development experience
- Experience in enterprise integrations and operational business systems preferred
Preferred Certifications
- Odoo Functional or Technical Certification
• Python Programming Certification
- ITIL Foundation
- Agile/Scrum Fundamentals
- PostgreSQL or Database Certifications
& Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
- Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
