Deliver complex solutions from initiation through deployment and support while contributing to business development and presales.
Project Leadership and Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and closure.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor team members and ensure project governance, quality, and contractual compliance.
- Facilitate stakeholder communications, reporting, steering committee updates, and client relationships.
Business Analysis and Solution Delivery
- Analyse current-state business processes and technology environments.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business requirements.
- Define and validate project scope with client stakeholders and sponsors.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for technical delivery teams.
- Coordinate solution design, delivery, functional testing, UAT, deployment, and transition activities.
- Manage transition to operational support, documentation, production issues, and enhancement requests.
Business Development
- Contribute to opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Support account growth and participate in discovery workshops, presales engagements, and statement of work development.
Essential Experience
- Have 5+ years of Project Manager experience in consulting with a solid Business Analyst background.
- Have delivered technology, data, BI, or consulting projects.
- Have managed scope, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
- Have supported business development, presales, account management, or consulting activities.
- Understand Agile, PRINCE2, and/or PMBOK project delivery methodologies.
- Have led and mentored project or delivery team members.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
- A degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is desirable.
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Asset-intensive industry experience in transport, mining, utilities, energy, or infrastructure is desirable.
- Consulting or client-facing professional services experience is desirable.
- Exposure to financial management, budgeting, and project reporting is desirable.
