Position summary
The RCM Business Analyst provides data-driven insight into revenue cycle operations.
The role supports Revenue Cycle Leadership with workflow and KPI reporting and dashboards using the organization's data tools.
Essential functions
- Create and maintain RCM reports and dashboards for business units.
- Inspect and clean revenue-related data and support governance to ensure data integrity.
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to enhance system efficiency.
- Support day-to-day RCM operations and contribute to department metrics.
- Translate cross-functional stakeholder needs into well-defined requirements.
- Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance/accounting, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of Revenue Cycle Management experience.
- Experience with practice management systems.
- Fluent in SQL and BI tools.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with quality, process improvement, and customer focus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform essential job functions safely.
Working conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with moderate noise.
- The role involves frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, computer use, and communication; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, pushing or pulling, and stair climbing.
- Frequent interaction with staff, managers, patients, families or caregivers, providers, vendors, and business partners.
- Occasional weekends, holidays, or varying shifts may be required based on business needs.
