An experienced Business Analyst is sought for an insurance software and business transformation environment.
The role turns customer, market, and business needs into clear, prioritized requirements and works across business, transformation, architecture, change, and delivery teams.
The role spans the change lifecycle, from understanding processes and gathering requirements through acceptance criteria, delivery support, and solution validation before cutover.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into structured, prioritized requirements.
- Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for change, and help define future requirements.
- Document requirements consistently, connect them to measurable outcomes, and maintain traceability through implementation.
- Define outcome measures and testable acceptance criteria, support prioritization, and ensure requirements are reviewed and signed off before build.
- Clarify requirements with cross-functional teams and assess proposed changes for impacts on requirements, processes, and outcomes.
- Escalate material impacts before commitments are made and validate delivered solutions against agreed needs before cutover.
- Maintain high standards of Business Analysis documentation and consistent programme practices.
Candidate profile
- The employer is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who has worked in complex transformation or change environments.
- The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple teams, priorities, and stakeholders.
- Experience in banking, insurance, or the London Market is particularly valuable.
Success measures
Requirements are clear, prioritized, traceable, and formally agreed before build begins.
Business processes and change impacts are understood, and requirements remain connected to measurable outcomes.
Delivery and testing teams have clear requirements, and solutions are validated against the original need before cutover.
