Overview

• Bridge business stakeholders and technology teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for IT systems and projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, and observation; translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Create and maintain artifacts: user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, data models, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements grooming, and prioritization sessions; manage and resolve conflicting requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, UX, and operations through the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies for proposed changes.
• Define and support user acceptance testing (UAT); develop test plans, coordinate test execution, and validate acceptance criteria.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements (process mapping, BPMN), automation, and KPI definitions.
• Support solution design by translating requirements into technical specifications and data/integration requirements; coordinate with architects and engineers.
• Maintain traceability of requirements from capture through implementation and testing; manage change requests.
• Produce clear documentation and training materials; support go‑live, cutover, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Assist in prioritization of backlog items based on business value, risk, and effort; contribute to roadmaps and release planning.
• Monitor project progress, report status, risks, and issues; escalate as needed.
• Promote best practices in requirements engineering, agile analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development environments (adjust per level).
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies; comfortable working in cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process maps.
• Familiarity with modeling and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, Visio).
• Basic technical literacy: APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), databases, integration patterns, and system architecture concepts.
• Experience supporting UAT and creating test cases; ability to validate technical solutions against requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Preferred

• Certification: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or ICAgile Business Analysis.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and reporting.
• Domain experience: finance, healthcare, retail, telecom, or ERP implementations.
• Familiarity with product management practices and metrics (OKRs, KPIs).
• Experience with automation, RPA, or low-code platforms.
• Pay: QAR7,327.21 - QAR9,436.82 per month
