The role focuses on functional and UAT testing of consumer-facing mobile apps and websites.
Required skills and experience
- At least 4 years of hands-on functional and UAT testing of consumer-facing mobile apps and websites.
- Hands-on Jira defect management is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum sprint delivery and testing to sprint release cadences.
- Strong test case design, translating user stories and acceptance criteria into structured, traceable test cases.
- Real-device iOS and Android mobile testing, including prerelease builds through TestFlight or Firebase App Distribution.
- Accessibility UAT experience for mobile apps, including validating key user journeys with assistive technologies against agreed WCAG requirements.
- Arabic proficiency to test Arabic-language mobile app content and user journeys.
Preferred experience
- Experience in theme parks, hospitality, travel, leisure, ticketing, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Sitecore or headless CMS experience is preferred.
- Payment gateway testing experience is preferred.
- ISTQB Foundation certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing and UAT of consumer-facing mobile apps and websites.
- Log, triage, retest, and close defects in Jira, and use Jira boards, filters, and dashboards.
- Test software in Agile/Scrum sprint delivery and release cycles.
- Design structured, traceable test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Test mobile applications on real iOS and Android devices, including prerelease builds distributed through TestFlight or Firebase App Distribution.
- Conduct accessibility UAT for mobile apps, validating key journeys with assistive technologies against agreed WCAG requirements.
- Test Arabic-language mobile app content and user journeys.
