Business Analyst

Position purpose

Key responsibilities

• Support and administer Plex ERP for assigned functional areas and troubleshoot system problems.
• Coordinate user training and keep training materials current.
• Implement effective business processes and policies using available technology.
• Share best practices across company locations and partners.
• Develop specifications for system enhancements with users, process owners, and management; assess requests and research alternatives.
• Audit system security and business processes and report findings.
• Analyze enterprise system data for compliance and report findings.
• Lead customization and integration efforts and maintain enterprise configurations and security policies.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in an information systems field such as CIS, BIS, or MIS, and 5–10 years of experience as a business analyst, software developer, or database administrator.
• Experience leading technical resources is essential.
• Thorough understanding of Plex ERP or another mainstream ERP system, particularly in the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated cross-functional capability and experience with disciplines such as accounting, quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Able to travel internationally and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Advantageous skills

• SQL and/or business intelligence platforms such as WebFOCUS or SAP Crystal Reports are advantageous.
• Programming experience with Visual Basic, Python, or C# is a plus.
