Business Analyst Advanced Supply Chain Planning

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support advanced supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for planning tools such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, or Dassault.
• Work closely with the System Integrator (SI) implementation partner to ensure timely and successful implementation of the planning application.
• Guide cross-functional teams in defining advanced planning use cases, solution design, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into system configurations and functional specifications.
• Work as a core IT user or consultant to drive system adoption and enhancements.
• Support testing activities (SIT/UAT) and ensure successful deployment.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, with a focus on advanced planning processes.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Kinaxis Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) Dassault planning solutions (e.g., DELMIA Quintiq) SAP-IBP candidates with background in above applications can also be considered .
• Proven experience in advanced planning system implementation projects (mandatory)
• Experience working as IT core user, or Functional consultant, or Business analyst
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning , Supply Planning , Inventory Optimization , S&OP processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a Business Analyst in planning tool implementations.
• Exposure to or experience in the Defense Industry (highly preferred).
• Experience working in onsite / client-facing roles in global environments.
