Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Post cash accurately and on time, assist with settlements, and resolve unapplied receipts with customers and internal teams.
• Follow up on aging receivables and analyze bad debt reserves, aging reports, invoice data, and other performance metrics.
• Support acquired-entity integrations; prepare invoices, debit memos, credit memos, write-offs, and account adjustments.
• Follow department procedures and SOX controls; identify system and process improvements.
• Maintain relationships across Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Treasury, Credit/Risk, and Tax; support customer service and approved refunds.
• Cross-train and complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or three or more years of accounts receivable experience, is required.
• Oracle Cloud experience and operational system knowledge, such as Right Angle, Symphony, or PetroMan, are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
• Requires issue research and resolution, attention to detail, task management, communication, teamwork, adaptability, confidentiality, and deadline management.

Work environment and physical requirements

• The role must be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours in an office environment.
• Travel is negligible. The role involves occasional movement of up to 10 pounds, office mobility, computer and phone use, and repetitive hand or finger motions.
