Bus Driver

As our Bus Driver, you’ll play an important role in supporting children and families by safely transporting children aged 3–5 between their homes and the Centre each morning and afternoon in our 11-seater bus. Beyond driving, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by ensuring the bus is regularly cleaned, refuelled, and well maintained, while completing required bookings, records, and paperwork. You’ll follow all safety, emergency, and operational procedures, uphold C&K policies and values, and contribute to positive experiences for children, families, and the wider community. Working closely with the Centre team, you’ll communicate professionally, support a collaborative and respectful workplace culture, and play a valued role in promoting C&K and delivering exceptional service to our families.

Permanent part-time | 60 hours per fortnight

Working hours: Monday & Tuesday 7:30am – 4:30pm; Wednesday & Friday 7:30am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm; Thursday 7:30am – 10:30am and 1:30pm – 4:30pm

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate

Valid Blue Card and current Police Check.

Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate/s

Current Open Queensland Driver Licence
