Role overview

Modeling and design coordination

• Reviews manufacturer and fabricator prints and provides modeling personnel with design sketches and technical guidance.
• Verifies intelligent model integrity and cross-checks drawings for consistency, placement, layering, and quality standards.
• Determines material needs, performs calculations, and establishes design criteria for assigned project phases.
• Supports or leads field assignments as required.

Engineering support

• Performs plotting, transmittals, file management, drawing distribution, simple design calculations, and coordination of specifications with drawings.
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles, material properties, and construction, installation, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• Requires 15 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Requires advanced knowledge of intelligent modeling/CADD drafting commands and solid knowledge of intelligent modeling technologies.
• Microsoft Office experience for design-related tasks is listed under skills and abilities.
• Requires communication, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.

Travel

• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; stated travel is 10% or less.
