Overview
We are looking for a strong, hands-on
Brand & Social Media Manager
to build and scale the personal brand of a UAE-based entrepreneur, author, investor, and motivational speaker.
This is not a basic social media posting role.
We are looking for someone who understands personal branding, storytelling, audience building, content performance, and commercial outcomes.
The right person should be able to turn ideas, interviews, podcasts, speeches, business insights, and daily moments into meaningful content that builds credibility, influence, speaking opportunities, and book sales.
Key Responsibilities
- **Brand Management**
- Own the overall brand presence across social media and digital platforms.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice, visual identity, messaging style, and positioning.
- Ensure the brand is presented as credible, aspirational, professional, and relevant to entrepreneurs, working professionals, students, business owners, and decision-makers.
- Work closely with internal teams, designers, editors, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure all communication is aligned.
- **Content Strategy and Execution**
- Plan and manage a monthly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create content themes around entrepreneurship, mindset, leadership, financial growth, business ownership, personal development, career growth, and motivational storytelling.
- Convert raw footage, podcasts, interviews, speeches, events, and behind-the-scenes moments into platform-specific content.
- Write captions, LinkedIn posts, short video scripts, hooks, content briefs, and campaign copy.
- Repurpose long-form content into Reels, Shorts, carousels, quote cards, thought leadership posts, and newsletter-style content.
- Ensure content is published consistently and with purpose, not just for activity.
- **Social Media Growth and Community Management**
- Manage day-to-day posting, engagement, comments, DMs, and audience interactions.
- Grow a high-quality audience across platforms.
- Identify relevant trends, content formats, and conversations that can be adapted for the brand.
- Build meaningful engagement with entrepreneurs, professionals, media, event organizers, students, and business communities.
- **Book Promotion and Campaign Support**
- Support campaigns linked to book sales, launches, events, speaking sessions, media activity, and partnerships.
- Ensure content includes strong calls to action where relevant.
- Coordinate with partners, vendors, influencers, communities, and internal teams to support visibility and sales.
- Track which content and channels are supporting interest, traffic, leads, and conversions.
- **Speaking Opportunities and Partnerships**
- Research and identify speaking opportunities across corporate events, universities, business forums, entrepreneur communities, podcasts, conferences, and leadership platforms.
- Build outreach lists and support communication with event organizers, HR leaders, institutions, and business communities.
- Coordinate speaker profiles, decks, bios, media kits, and event requirements.
- Support the conversion of brand visibility into speaking opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- **Performance and Reporting**
- Track content performance, audience growth, engagement, reach, inquiries, website traffic, book-related interest, and speaking leads.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and next steps.
- Use performance data to improve content direction, posting formats, hooks, topics, and platform strategy.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in social media, personal branding, content strategy, talent management, PR, influencer management, or brand marketing.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and short-form video formats.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create sharp captions, hooks, posts, and scripts.
- Ability to manage designers, video editors, agencies, and freelancers.
- Strong sense of visual quality and brand consistency.
- Comfortable with outreach, coordination, follow-ups, and relationship building.
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube Studio, basic analytics tools, and content planning tools will be an advantage.
- Experience in speaker booking, podcast outreach, media coordination, or book promotion will be preferred.
- The ideal candidate is someone who:
