Role Summary

  • Plans, creates, and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
  • Produces informational material for the sales force and for communications media.
  • What you’ll do
  • Develops and/or facilitates the development and creation of the promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with the brand strategy.
  • Develops and manages the promotion /communication budget and project timelines.
  • Collaborates with brand team to make a convincing case for appropriate budget and expectations for marketing opportunities.
  • Maintains awareness of competitive activity in consumer marketing
  • Manages overall relationships with advertising agencies and other vendors.
  • Responsible for the implementation of promotional/communication strategies, plans and programs in support of brand strategies and objectives.
  • Provides input into Communication Planning and Operational Planning
  • Essential for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceuticals or science)
  • **For Internal Candidates:** Minimum 5 years of Experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least one year in AstraZeneca.
  • **For External Candidates:** Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing roles in Oncology/ Specialty care in Gulf.
  • Desirable for the role
  • Strategic Thinking: Develop short & long-term brand strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Organize and manage multiple projects to align with brand objectives.
