Brand Manager

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of brand strategies and annual brand plans. Lead new product development from initial idea through to launch and in-market activation. Plan and execute activity across media, communications, shopper and commercial channels. Act as a key day-to-day contact for creative and media agencies, with support from the Senior Brand Manager. Take responsibility for areas of the health portfolio, including brand planning, innovation development and commercial performance. Work with Sales and Category teams to understand performance and identify distribution and growth opportunities. Use brand, consumer and commercial data to make clear recommendations. Track brand and campaign performance against agreed measures and identify where activity needs to be adjusted. Coordinate cross-functional project teams and manage multiple priorities. Manage and develop one direct report. About you You’ll have consumer marketing experience, ideally gained in FMCG, food, drink, nutrition, health and wellness or another fast-paced branded environment. We’re looking for someone who can bring a combination of: Brand strategy and practical in-market execution. New product development or innovation experience. Campaign, media, communications or brand activation experience. Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing decisions affect wider business performance. Confidence using data and insight to inform brand recommendations. Strong project management and organisational skills. The ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams. A collaborative, pragmatic approach and the confidence to take ownership. You don’t need to be a specialist in every area. You might be particularly strong in brand positioning and innovation, or you might have deeper experience in activation, communications and driving brand growth in market.
