Develops and executes business plans that support community and business development and location, regional, and corporate goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the branch at an acceptable audit level and implement business process improvement recommendations.
- Support sound risk decisions and continuous improvement.
- Develop staff sales plans and coach staff on activity, effectiveness, and accountability.
- Observe member and staff coaching interactions, give feedback, and model strong sales and service skills.
- Promote cooperation across segments to generate referrals and full-service relationships.
- Foster staff responsibility and autonomy in decision-making and problem resolution.
- Oversee direct reports’ onboarding, training, and development.
- Build and implement business development plans with regional and branch teams.
- Motivate the team to network with target markets and grow membership and wallet share.
- Build reciprocal relationships with community partners and centres of influence.
- Monitor sales activity, growth, expenses, revenue, member service, and staff experience.
- Encourage community involvement aligned with Libro’s pillars.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma and 4–6 years of experience in financial services or sales leadership.
- Demonstrated direct and project leadership, mentoring or coaching, and experience leading others.
- Ability to contribute to regional business plans, align teams, create action plans, and drive accountability.
- Passion for helping people improve their financial well-being.
- Demonstrate accountability, courage, high performance, and an inclusive mindset.
