Branch Manager – Specialty Café

Role Overview

What You'll Do

• Run daily branch operations: opening and closing, shift planning, staff rosters, and service standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate the team of baristas, waiters, kitchen staff, and helpers; set goals and review performance.
• Ensure warm, consistent guest service and handle complaints professionally on the spot.
• Hit sales targets and control costs including food and beverage cost, labour, wastage, and stock.
• Manage stock and ordering with the purchasing team, check deliveries, and support monthly stock counts.
• Keep the branch compliant with food safety, hygiene, grooming, and municipality requirements.
• Handle cash, POS end-of-day reports, and petty cash accurately.
• Plan and support promotions, pop-ups, events, and catering orders with the marketing team.
• Report sales, costs, staff, and operational issues to management weekly and suggest improvements.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years in F&B management, ideally as a café, restaurant, or branch manager.
• Strong leadership and people skills, and experience training and scheduling a team.
• A solid understanding of sales, cost control, stock, and basic P&L.
• Hands-on knowledge of café or barista operations; specialty coffee experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory or ERP systems, and Excel.
• Good knowledge of UAE food safety and coffee standards; a PIC / food safety certificate is a plus.
• Good spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Calm under pressure, organised, and focused on customer service.
• A valid UAE driving licence is a plus.
