Role
The employer is seeking a Bookkeeper.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and chartered accountant qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Functional knowledge of control assessments and ICOFR, plus knowledge and practical experience applying IFRS.
- The posting separately describes Chartered Accountant or equivalent with 10 years’ experience as preferred, despite stating those qualifications as mandatory above.
Responsibilities
- Record supplier, payroll, staff, and other payments.
- Record revenues and ensure revenue completeness.
- Record petty cash transactions and ensure payments are approved.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting package and maintain supporting paper documentation.
- Review and assist in developing financial reports; assist management with forecasts if required.
- Ensure monthly reporting and perform other tasks as required by management.
Pay
- AED 15,000–18,000 per month.
Work location
- Abu Dhabi; work is in person.
