As a
BMS Technician
at ALEC Technologies, you'll be responsible in installing, testing, and commissioning BMS systems, including field devices, control panels, and communication cables, while performing point-to-point testing, supporting system validation, troubleshooting basic faults, and ensuring all work is carried out according to approved drawings, standards, and sequences of operation.
Your Role
- Install and terminate BMS field devices such as sensors, actuators, and controllers as per approved drawings
- Carry out panel wiring, ferruling, cable glanding, and basic control panel connections
- Install field communication cables and support proper routing as per site requirements
- Assist in installing BMS controllers, I/O modules, control panels, and network switches
- Read and follow shop drawings, panel GA drawings, and installation instructions correctly
- Perform basic point-to-point testing for field devices and controllers
- Support testing of analog and digital inputs/outputs and system functionality checks
- Assist in identifying basic faults in wiring, devices, and communication issues
- Follow project standards, safety rules, and quality requirements during installation work
- Work as part of a team and support senior technicians in daily installation and commissioning activities
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field
- 3 to 7 years of experience in BMS installation and commissioning
- Experience working on commercial buildings or data center projects is preferred
- Basic hands-on experience with BMS systems and field devices
- Experience with major BMS platforms such as Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or Johnson Controls is an advantage
