Role Overview

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service experience is required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency, are required.
• TIPS or other alcohol service training is required.
• Strong organization and time management skills are required.
• The attendant must carry a tray with at least six meals or beverages and serve up to 20 residents and guests during a meal period.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take orders, and serve residents promptly and professionally.
• Process orders and payments using the point-of-sale system and open and close it each shift.
• Prepare menu meals, promote food and coffee items, and determine daily Panini specials with the chef.
• Stock, prepare, and rotate grab-and-go items.
• Maintain a welcoming attitude and keep the bistro clean and orderly.
• Maintain daily temperature logs and par stock lists.
