Biology Student Tutor Fall 2026

Schedule Type: Part Time, No Benefits (less than 20 hrs per week)

Additional Schedule Details: No work during holidays, weekends, and EKU breaks

The Biological Sciences department is seeking undergraduate students to serve as tutors in the department's Peer Mentoring Center.

Students will be responsible for providing in-person one-on-one or group setting.

Some evenings may be required.

Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required.

Must have a 3.5 GPA and a BIO major.

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU full time for the Fall 2026 semester.

Undergraduate Biological Sciences student, or related major, at junior or senior standing, or exceptional sophomore minimum 3.5 GPA.

A grade of a least a B or higher in some upper-level BIO coursework (e.g.

BIO 307/308, BIO 315, BIO 320, etc.)
