BIM Technician - Electrical

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Produce BIM models as an MEP Revit Modeler.
• Produce detailed engineering designs and construction drawings.
• Provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects and work across multiple projects.

Required qualifications and experience

• At least 4 years of production experience in design, drafting, and engineering, with significant experience in a similar role or a good track record.
• At least 3 years of BIM MEP experience.
• Experience using BIM MEP, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and Navisworks.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work closely with senior-level colleagues.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enabled applications, and database software.
• Ability to plan and manage workload and understand personal and software limitations.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred in addition to draughting qualifications.
• Autodesk 3ds Max and MS Excel experience are desirable but not essential.
