Job Description The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining discipline-specific BIM models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clash-free integration across architectural, structural, and MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle. The role acts as the technical bridge between designers, engineers, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate structural BIM models (concrete, steel, foundations)
- Ensure alignment with architectural grids and levels
- Manage analytical vs physical models
- Coordinate openings, embeds, and penetrations
- Support shop drawing and fabrication model coordination
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as BIM
- UAE experience is a must
- Advanced Revit Structure skills
- Strong understanding of structural systems and detailing
- Experience with steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Familiarity with construction sequencing and temporary works
Nice-to-Have (All Disciplines)
- Experience with ACC / BIM 360
- Experience on large-scale or complex projects
