Overview
The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality 3D Building Information Models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
The role ensures accurate model content that supports coordination, clash detection, and construction sequencing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models in Revit/Navisworks for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Implement BIM models in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and LOD requirements.
- Conduct clash detection exercises and coordinate resolution with relevant discipline leads.
- Extract 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity takeoffs from BIM models.
- Collaborate with the design and technical teams to incorporate design changes into models.
- Maintain model integrity, version control, and adherence to BIM standards (ISO 19650).
- Support model-based coordination meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
