About the role

BIM delivery responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate BIM activities; plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate technical and management aspects of delivery.
• Provide Revit and BIM support to MEP teams and administer BIM 360 collaboration environments and workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP 3D models for clash detection and coordination reviews.
• Establish BIM execution plans, workflows, standards, and documentation procedures; set up project templates and BIM environments.
• Initiate models for production teams and allocate and manage model work packages among modelers and junior team members.
• Mentor junior BIM professionals; monitor model quality, performance, file size, and compliance with standards.
• Manage interoperability between BIM and engineering/design platforms; ensure delivery of COBie and other project information requirements.
• Conduct quality checks for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Technical skills and domain knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is specified.
• BIM collaboration, coordination, and data-management platforms include BIM 360 Suite, Assemble, Synchro, and Navisworks.
• Experience with 3D/BIM quantity take-off and estimating tools is specified.
• Knowledge areas include LOD specifications, BIM execution, industry standards, best practices, and digital engineering workflows.
• Domain knowledge includes MEPF and HVAC systems and coordination across architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• The role involves producing accurate 3D models and visualizations, detailed drawings, schematics, construction documents, and permit-submission packages.
• COBie implementation and delivery, particularly at LOD 300, is highlighted; frameworks listed include BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650 series, and BIM Forum LOD Specifications.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant consulting-environment experience focused on BIM for building-services projects.
• Extensive experience with Revit MEPF and other building-services design and modeling platforms.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, and project-delivery methodologies.
