BIM Modeler / Design - Co-Ordinator

Role overview

Location and workplace

• Projects are in the UAE and wider GCC.
• Work location is in person, with site-based BIM work and inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain architectural, structural, and MEP BIM models based on site conditions.
• Coordinate BIM integration with site technical teams, project engineers, and subcontractors.
• Inspect sites to verify model accuracy and reflect actual progress.
• Prepare weekly BIM progress reports, clash detection updates, and coordination summaries.
• Support technical drawings, shop drawings, and BIM documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings, resolve clashes, and facilitate communication across disciplines.
• Manage project documents, drawings, and BIM files through Aconex.
• Ensure deliverables meet project standards, guidelines, and client requirements.
• Assist with 4D/5D BIM outputs when required.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of BIM experience in GCC construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows.
• Experience in site BIM modelling and real-time coordination with site teams.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical details.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced project environments.

Preferred skills

• Familiarity with Aconex is an advantage.
• Preferred skills include construction sequencing and site execution knowledge, managing multiple BIM tasks and deadlines, problem-solving, attention to detail, and knowledge of GCC construction standards and practices.

Compensation and employment

• Full-time position.
• Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
