Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a BIM Expert Trainer at Protrainy.
The BIM Expert Trainer will design and deliver online training sessions, workshops, and live classes focused on Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for civil engineering learners.
Responsibilities
include preparing structured course content, demonstrations, and practical assignments, as well as updating training materials based on industry trends and software updates.
The trainer will interact with learners via virtual platforms, clarify doubts, review project work, and provide constructive feedback to support learner success.
The role also involves collaborating with the Protrainy team to improve curricula, contribute to assessments, and ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in BIM tools and workflows (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM software) and their application in civil/structural projects.
- Solid foundation in civil/structural engineering concepts, including structural design principles and practical project execution.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, training, or mentoring, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms, digital collaboration tools, and preparation of instructional materials such as slides, videos, and practical exercises.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle remote, part-time teaching schedules effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; professional certifications in BIM or related software are an advantage.
- Prior industry experience in BIM-led projects (design, coordination, or execution) is highly desirable.
