BIM Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models from architectural, structural, and MEP information; coordinate models and detect clashes and other design conflicts.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, model views, and technical documentation; incorporate approved revisions and maintain model quality, data integrity, and version control.
• Support BIM execution plans, standards, naming conventions, and information management procedures; attend virtual coordination meetings and report findings and proposed solutions.
• Assist with quantity extraction, model-based analysis, and construction planning where applicable; improve BIM workflows and digital collaboration.

Requirements and qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD. Navisworks or similar coordination tools are advantageous.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, and/or MEP systems; knowledge of BIM standards, coordination, drawing production, and revision control.
• Strong analytical, detail, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate digital documentation.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications are not required.
