Full-time, on-site BIM Coordinator role based in Coimbatore, coordinating workflows across multidisciplinary project teams.
The role covers model setup and standards, accuracy and consistency, clash and issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, documentation, progress reporting, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain BIM models and enforce project standards for MEP, architectural, structural, and construction deliverables.
- Facilitate clash detection and issue resolution; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and document issues and resolutions.
- Support shop drawings and project documentation; work with engineers and designers to optimize model efficiency.
- Prepare progress reports and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong BIM coordination skills, including experience with Revit, Navisworks, and other industry-standard BIM tools.
- Model management and quality-control capabilities, including clash detection, model auditing, and adherence to BIM standards and protocols.
- Practical knowledge of MEP, architectural, and structural systems and ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder inputs, and document issues and resolutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and mitigate design and coordination risks.
- Diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, a related engineering field, or architecture; alternatively, proven BIM coordination experience in the AEC industry.
- Experience with LOD development, 4D/5D BIM, or large-scale or international projects is an added advantage.
