We are looking for a detail-oriented **Billing Executive** to manage billing operations within an energy efficiency company.
The role involves handling invoicing related to energy projects, monitoring consumption-based billing, and ensuring financial accuracy in line with contracts and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on energy consumption, contracts, and project milestones
- Reconcile billing data with project reports and financial records
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to validate billing inputs
- Manage accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain billing records and documentation for audits
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in billing/accounting (experience in energy/utilities sector preferred)
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite Preferred )
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with energy performance contracts (EPC) or ESCO billing models
- Understanding of energy consumption metrics (kWh, BTU, etc.)
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency projects
- Ability to work with large datasets and technical reports
- Ability to speak both Arabic and English is mandatory
