Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bike Rider role based in Dubai.
The Bike Rider will be responsible for safely picking up and delivering packages, documents, or food orders to specified locations within defined timelines.
Daily tasks include following assigned routes, using navigation tools, confirming order details, collecting payments when required, and obtaining delivery confirmations.
The role also involves inspecting the bike before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance needs, and complying with traffic rules and company safety policies.
The Bike Rider will interact professionally with customers, maintain clear communication with dispatch or supervisors, and support other delivery-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid UAE motorcycle license and proven experience riding a motorbike in urban environments.
- Strong route planning and navigation abilities, including the use of GPS and mobile delivery applications.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact respectfully and clearly with customers and team members.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries and meet strict deadlines.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash on delivery, verifying amounts, and managing receipts when required.
- Understanding of local traffic laws, road safety practices, and defensive driving techniques.
- Physically fit and able to ride for extended periods and handle light to moderate lifting of packages.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; previous delivery, courier, or logistics experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Dubai areas and neighborhoods is highly beneficial; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
